Very well done

For a Yamaha DX keyboard, those are great sounds, specifically the guitar and keyboard.

I think the guitar could have a little more arpeggiated line, but other than that very well done!

MilkMan-Dan responds:

ahhh... MrMaestro... were you not the one who recently made that classical remix to Defcon Zero. That was some mighty impressive work there. Yes... my Keyboard has served me very well... I love it dearly. I'm thinking of getting some programs that will work with my keyboard and offer me more sound and flexability... if anyone knows of any... let me know.

Nice job

I liked the chord changes in the piece, I havn't heard them used in that proggression too often.

I think you should look for some fuller sounds, the piece sounds like it's a midi file at times. Panning sounds can really work wonders too. What software are you using?

Nice job all in all, the piece has a great feel to it. 5/5

johnfn responds:

Yeah, I liked the chords too.

As for the fuller sounds, at the end of the song I tried to pull that off with the lower arpeggio, but I screwed it up and had the wrong volume setting for it. It really bugs me because on my headphones it's too loud and on my speakers I can't hear it >_> It could have done with some panning too (although I panned a lot in this song if you pay attention, because I was having trouble hearing anything)

I'm using Fruityloops... Isn't that what everyone uses? (Except the pros who use Reason...)

Thanks for the review and 5! :)

Very very tight song

Everything was put together very well. You have a nice voice too, it's certainly a welcome change from all the 13-year-old kids trying to rap or do some good ol' scream-o.

You've got some great music hear! 5/5

WinTang responds:

Thanks a lot! Your stuff is on my soon-to-review list as well, very good, it's just so many I need to take some time for it...

Well done!

Definately puts a twist on typical dance music because of the atonality.

My only real complaint would be the clarity of the overall mix, it sounded a little too mushy over all. I think try raising the higher frequencies up a bit and it will solve that problem.

Greast job, 5/5 :)

WinTang responds:

Agreed...
I'll see if I can get some more clarity on it...
One of my problems is I make these songs with Impulse Tracker and that will export WAVs only in mono... so I can't pan anything, which would probably helped this song ahead.
I've been trying to switch to Fruity or something, but I don't have the patience to get used to them.
Anyway, many thanks for your review.

Hahaha great job!

I played that whole sonata, so it's awsome to hear somthing like this :).

Great job Z!

PERVOK responds:

Har har, and its not even MIDI!
(Thanks to a brother of mine that can actually read notes...)

Thanks for the review!

First dl, first review, first 5!

Well done matey!

You're style is so unique, I love it. I can here MaestroSorrow in all your songs.

Too bad you aren't as good as he is.

5/5!!

MaestroSorrow responds:

I'm not as good as myself??!?!!?!1?!shift+1

The paradoxial situation in which I exist now hurts my mind X_x.

many thanks for the review MrMaestro.

Wow!

I'm glad I checked out your music, you've got some great stuff going here. I'm going to five all your stuff, you need some more recognization. Keep up the great work, I'll be watching you!

Petwoip responds:

Wow, thank you so much!! I'm really appreciate it! You can check out my new song: "Sandpaper"

Zenon WOW!

Dude, I'm speechless. This shows off your skills in so many ways- it's awsome. You did a great job with it. I think my only complaint is the tempo changes. It's one of those ideas where you think it will sound awsome at the drawing board, but it doesn't quite work, it interupts the whole flow of the song.

But damn man, Paradise on E is a tough song to remix and to match it in musical quality is hard, but I think you've done it. You have my 5, and if I could give you more, I would.

PERVOK responds:

Thank you!
I did this all by ear, since i actually didn't get permission from b0unc3 that i could do it until I had already figured out the melody ;)

Once again, thanks!
(and the tempo changes were supposed to add a little bit o' drama :P )

Nice playing!

Way too short and such, but this is just a riff, so no biggie.

Your guitar playing is quite good, I never really realized that. Audacity is a pretty nice program for the price. I got such a good deal on it, I only paid 80 bucks plus like 5 bucks shipping- it was a steal!

:P

Thanks for your vote, OMGitsMrMaestro! You voted 5 for techno guitar riff, keeping its score at 5.00.

Hmm, don't ge tthat too often. Wonder how long it will last before zero voters come?

mhb responds:

thank you very much for the 5! i agree that audacity is pretty nice for the price. the fact that it can utilize vst's is great. someday soon i'll finish the song that this riff goes with. hopefully it turns out ok.
