Nice Piece of Music

Nice little piano piece you have here. It doesn't seem to follow any classical form, though. Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata (I presume you are basing this off of the 1st movement) follows a loose sonata form, called a Fantasia. If you are serious about making more classical music, I would certaintly suggest you do a little research on musical forms, because you certaintly seem to have a knack for it.

Some good starter forms to look at are: Fugue, Theme and Variatiaons, and Sonata. These are pretty easy to follow. Check out Mozart's K545 piano sonata, a real easy one to analyze for form. If you're not interested in checking out classical forms, just ignore most of what I said. Nice job :).

sweet. thanx for the good review. what r the links for these forums tho?

Great work

I am impressed in the fact that you seem to know when to drop out instruments right when they start to get boring/ anoying. The cowbell was a great touch, but it was nice that you gave a breather here and there. At the beginning I was thinking of Moral Kombat for a second. Great piece, all in all, I like it.

PERVOK responds:

well, i guess that it just takes a bit of practice, eh?

thanks for the review!

Nice melody and beat

I like this beat. It's simple, but really helps keep the piece moving. When everything drop out except for the low synth bass, the buildup works really well. I probably would have dropped down to just the kick drum and the low synth, and add the rest of the drums in from there. All in all though, nice piece.

You get a 5/5 from me.

axeman666 responds:

thanks. that will really help this get noticed...hopefully.

Wow, nice job

The play button isn't working for me either (happened with one of my songs, too). I just downloaded it though, so no biggie.

Anyway, It's a nice trance piece, all in all. Reminds me a bit of Robert Miles' stuff. The vocals really added to the song, a lot. I look forward to hearing more of your stuff!

DjSpada responds:

Hey MrMaestro! Glad you like the song! And thx for dowloading it!

bye!

p.s I reuploaded the song and the stream button works now! :)

Nice overall, but gets repetitious

I like the melody, it's pretty funky and catchy. However, it's repeated a lot, and loses it's edge after a while. Great build up of intensity throughout the song, keep my interest. However, I think if you put in another melody, and switched up the one you have now, it would turn this piece into some very, very nice trance.

For a new person making trance, this is nice stuff. Keep at it, I look forward to hearing more of your stuff.

Fico responds:

Thanks a lot =D I've got 'bout 21 songs as projects and can't decide which to submit :P I'm listening them over and over to knockout the worst.

Definately not bad, but gets repitive

Nice music, and nice melody. All in all a very nice piece, but the melody gets kindda boring after a while, almost to the point of becomming anoying. The part where you lower the volume is a nice touch, but it shouldn't be quite so dramatic, and keep the treble up a little more, because it sounds more like you are cupping your hands over the speakers than a nice effect.

But still, with a little more work, this piece could be really, really great. Maybe throw in another melody in there?

malibaba responds:

thx that helps me alot=)

Great Mix, but not 100% original

Definately sounds fimiliar from somthing on fruity loops, as someone said below you used a preset loop or sound. None the less, it's a great song, and great sounding vocals. Kepp up your good work!

E-S-F responds:

Dude, its a "remix" Of a song in fl studio. Its called FruityTechTrance. I felt i wanted to make it a lot better, and viowala.

Starts off great, but then loses my interest

It has great potential, I could see it having a really fast background melody while somthing takes control of a main melody. I would work on it more, it has as nice beat to it.

DJ-K-OS responds:

ok ill see and remake the whole thing and see what can i make out of it...

Not bad, but could be a bit less chaotic

It's pretty good, but you should make the melodey less chaotic. Often times, the catchiest stuff is the most simple stuff. Has some cool potential though, interesting beat.

TheWizardOfFozz responds:

nothing is as pure as when its in chaos...

Not Bad, could use work

You have a nice beat going on there, but I think you should put some sort of melody in it. It starts off pretty good, but gets old. If you had a melody or two thrown in the middle of the song, it would make it much more enjoyable.

Alright, Effort: 8? I spent about 5 minutes on this.
