We will get the site off the ground- we just have to get some more people to join the team and we'll be all set. Until then there isn't too much more we can do :(

Hey Deflektor!

Diatonic Studios is a project I'm working on that will hosts a team of high-quality musicians who write music for the site. The purpose of the music is for use in any flash production. It's much like the Audio Portal on Newgrounds, except the idea is to keep the quality of the content at a premium.

Right now the only compensation offered to the artists in publicity, but hopefully when the site picks up momentum again I can provide a pay-per-piece type of compensation. There was a point where the site was bringing in enough money to support a small team of artists, assuming roughly 2 submissions were submitted a week and, they were paid $50 per piece. Unfortunately, the ad revenue is down (although it is starting to pick up again now that I have re-launched my old site). Until I get a steady income from the site, and a slightly more substancial financial reserve, I won't be able to pay artists.

So, long story short, the site is a " Community-based musical database that offers independent multimedia producers royalty-free musical loops, full-length songs, and sounds".
